A very interesting article I came across today on Bulbanews:
Looking Forward: 3:10 to Hoenn
I hadn't quite realized how many similarities Isshu bore with my favorite region Hoenn. I think my respect for this game is slowly growing.
On the other hand, I wondered about the similarities between Isshu and Sinnoh. I realized I saw more there. Sinnoh is also an isolated region. But Isshu, like Sinnoh and unlike Hoenn, will have a method of bringing up Pokemon from Gen IV games. It's called Pokeshifter and is most likely a revamped Pal Park.
I'm certainly looking forward to the up and coming games, to be released in Japan in less than month (on Sept. 18). But I want to hear some feedback from the PFC users. If Isshu is going to be a lot like Hoenn, do you believe we will gain or lose fans? Why? And, from your previous experience with the shift into new generations, how do you think you will like Black and White? Will it become the new eternally bashed R/S/E?
I guess we'll all have to wait until Spring 2011 to find out for ourselves.
